Nicole uses fashion and beauty illustration as a way to make all women feel special, beautiful, empowered, and SEEN.
“When I started illustrating many years ago, I couldn’t find women who looked like me anywhere. Women of color, along with women of a certain age or size, were all but invisible. As such, my work started as a way for me to champion and celebrate people in a space where we were constantly ignored. Today, that same sentiment remains at the heart of everything I do. Whatever shape my work takes, whether it’s an ad campaign, editorial spread, children’s book, or personalized illustration, I want the people who see my work to know that I see them.”
